Our days follow the same rhythm I use when shooting on assignment or capturing stock images — we depart early and stay out late to take advantage of the most beautiful, dramatic light.

These tours are all about creating exceptional, memorable images while learning hands-on in real-world conditions. Primary instruction takes place in the field, where you’ll receive immediate feedback and guidance as you shoot. In the evenings or during downtime, we’ll review and discuss images to refine your technique and storytelling approach.

Because each group is intentionally small, you’ll receive personalized instruction throughout the tour — ensuring you get the support, direction, and inspiration you need to elevate your photography.

Beyond camera skills, I also emphasize natural history education, helping you better understand the wildlife and ecosystems we photograph. As the number of photographers in the field continues to grow, I make it a priority to teach ethical practices and field etiquette — showing respect for the animals, the environment, and fellow photographers.
