Their award winning photography has been seen in nearly every nature publication in the world. This is guaranteed to be a high energy, hands on workshop designed for aspiring nature photographers who want to dramatically improve their technical ability. Robert and Lorri will divulge many of their techniques and style. They will show you how to obtain professional quality nature and wildlife images. Robert will try to increase the participants visionary skills and natural history understanding. So results can be seen immediately and the learning experience maximized digital cameras are recommended, though not required.
One on one instruction is a powerful learning tool. Participants will be able to live a day in the life of a professional nature photographer. Locations available in numerous outstanding areas within the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem, Grand Teton National Park and the Bighorn Basin. You may also arrange for Robert and Lorri to come to your favorite location.

* Metering techniques; how to achieve consistently good exposures
* Equipment that makes a difference
* When and how to use flash as your main light or as fill light
* How to get professionally sharp images
* Proper AF and manual focusing techniques
* How to successfully capture action photos
* How to get over subject fixation
* Powerful compositional techniques
* What to look for in your background
* How to approach birds and wildlife without disturbance
* The ethics of nature photography
Potential subjects include:
Pronghorn antelope, elk, wild horses, badger, mule deer, whitetail deer, trumpeter swans, black bears, grizzly bears, moose, eagles, otters, sage grouse, rabbits, bison, bighorn sheep, wolves, coyotes, badlands, thermal features, mountains scenes, wildflowers. Alpine scenes, lakes and rivers.
Our goal with "Custom Yellowstone Ecosystem Workshops" is to provide each participant with the maximum education for the dollar. These Workshops are designed by working professionals for aspiring nature photographers with the desire to increase the level of their ability quickly.
