Franzfoto Stock currently has 200,000 transparencies on file and a rapidly growing collection of digital captures. Transparencies are scanned at 5400pi providing a 70-100 megabyte tiff file. Digital captures are sized from 3078 x 2074 pixels to 4752 x 3168 pixels which yield a 16 bit tiff of 36 to 80 megabyte file.
We can ship original or duplicate transparencies, cd's or dvd's of digital files, email jpegs, or upload digital files via FTP. Photo requests will be filled within 24 hours and can be shipped to you by your preferred method.
We currently have several thousand images in our searchable database which of course is just a small portion of the total number of images in our files. If you don't see the exact photo to suit your needs on line let us know what you are looking for and we'll do our best to fill your request.
All images on Franzfoto Stock are "Rights managed".
Rights-managed (RM)
Rights-managed products are licensed on a use-by-use basis. The fee for using the product is calculated from several factors including size, placement, duration of use and geographic distribution. At the time you order a rights-managed product, you will be asked to submit information that will specify the usage rights to be granted. This will help determine the license fee. Exclusive rights are available for purchase for some rights-managed products.
Stock Photo Pricing
When you search our stock photography collection and find the right image, what does it cost? That depends on how you intend to use each stock photo.
Most uses of images can be classified by 3 choices:
License Type - Will the stock photo be used in a Brochure, Annual Report, Greeting Card, etc?
License Audience - This is typically the print run such as 10,000, 50,000, 100,000, etc.
License Size - This is the size that the stock photo will be printed. Examples are Half Page, Quarter Page, Full Page, and Spot.
